Exclamation Re-Installing Stock Airbox & Intake, Help!

2006 IS350

So I removed my K&N Typhoon intake and noticed that I seem to be missing a couple of screws (or so I think).

Can anyone confirm that the bottom half of the stock airbox is screwed down in two spots? There are two protruding extensions that line up with holes on the chassis. However, I can't seem to find any screws in the diagram that I linked below so I am at a loss as to whether or not screws were ever used there.

Also, I can't seem to recall what the clips on the hose portion of the intake are for. I am referring to part #23841-31040.

If possible could anyone take a photo of their stock intake setup for reference? I am having trouble finding anything that focuses on the airbox itself.

I am selling the car and am worried about the intake rattling around. If anyone knows the dimensions of the screws let me know, I'll just go buy it at a hardware store.

Thanks!

Yes there are two screws that hold down the bottom portion of the airbox. One on the passneger fender side and one behind the passenger headlight. I think the clips are to hold some of the wires that go near the intake.

The bolts you're talking about is actually showed on the diagram that you attached.
P/N 90119-06953 (you need 2 of them)
As i remember. those bolts spec is M10-1.25.
You could find it at any hardware or auto parts store

^^^^ yup, two bolts holding them down. Those are very common bolts, easy to find.

In a pinch (if you're trading it in) just throw some welding putty on top of it. Once it hardens it won't go anywhere. A small amount of welding putty will go a long way.
I am only recommending this since you're trading the car in AND if you can't find the bolt size you need.
Good luck.
