What's going on with the replica WALD lip market...??
A simply search of "is250 wd style" on ebay.com just completely shocked me...
Seems like the replica WALD front lip for 2009-2010 models all jumped to $330

i thought i'd never see the day that replica/knock-off parts are more expensive than their authentic variant. what's ironic is, i'm sure many of you who are reading this thread have the same complaints in here about the replica/knock-off parts as many of you did about their authentic variants.
don't blame the resellers for ratcheting up the prices on these replica/knock-off parts. blame yourselves. all of you who have supported replica parts resellers made it acceptable (and profitable) for the replica parts industry, and now it's coming to bite the enthusiasts in the ***. congratulations.
regardless, the same adage still applies.
if you want to play, you've got to pay.

You think replica part dealers really give a crap about morality? They don't care that they're price gouging you. They make their living swindling people and copying other companies hard work. These people flourish when people allow greed outweights morality. This is what happens when you care more about "How much can I mod my car for $1000?" instead of looking at the bigger picture and supporting an industry that makes modding your car possible.
Careful, your actions have bigger consequences than you realize.

- Ralliart was dissolved (most of it was shut down, and what wasn't was absorbed into Mitsubishi Motors)
- ARC filed for bankrupcy and is no longer producing aftermarket parts
- HKS USA closed its operations (and is now operating out of HKS HQ in Japan) as part of its corporate downsizing
- Trust Japan (parent company of Greddy) barely emerged from bankrupcy
- BBS filed for bankrupcy and is reorganizing
this ^ is what happens when sheeple think that it's okay to rock replica/knock-off junk that's being pawned off on ebay and other e-tailers because because everyone wants to be a ****ing baller on a budget, and it's this kind of mentality that ruins the market for aftermarket parts for enthusiasts.
in this case, people complaining about ebay resellers price-gauging a replica/knock-off lip? well, as the old saying goes, when you point one finger, there's three pointing back at you. don't blame them; blame yourselves.
if i told you that there's a sucker born every minute, would you be surprised?
