Default one of my 2008 IS 250 Windshield wiper arm not working

Hello

This morning we got some snow and it cover my IS 250, I did not raise up the windshield arm last night since it was never a problem to me since I have my IS250 with my for four winters already.

But tonight when I tried to drive it like usual (I clean out most of the snow on my car first) but stupid me turn on the windshield arm to clean the rest of the snow on my windshield. Then I found the arm on driver side was frozen and can not move. I went get some hot water and melt the ice and tried again then I found I was too late. It will not move again but only passenger side arm still working.

What should I do? if the passenger side still working that means the motor is still working right? Any easy way for me to fix the driver side arm?

Please help me out! Thank you!

My guess is that the wiper arm is stripped at the pivot point. If you remove it you can check. If it is, you will likely need a new arm, if it isn't, you will likely need a new linkage.

Hey Jeff thank you for your advice, I will check it and see if that will be the case.
