Just to confirm, will the Hertz 3 way be an easy fitment? Or will custom work need to be done to fit them in the door. I just went from having Mark Levenson back to a stock sound system (new car) and its killing me

You will need these adapters for the 6.5" woofers. This isn't the seller I bought mine from on eBay, but they are the same adapters. Your Hertz components will come with an adapter that will work for the tweeter. As for the mid, it looks like Mariano retained the factory mount when installing his so you should be good there. Other than that, it is just a matter of splicing into the door speaker wiring and running it to the crossover. And yes, I am running the two way component set (HSK165 Hertz). I don't know if I still have any pics of my door with the panel removed but I will take a look.

I'm running brax 6.5 mid bass woofer with stock mid and tweets. All powered by JL audio HD 600/4 running through audison bit one processor. It sounds amazing. You would have to hear it to belived it. I've had expensive expensive 3 way components before and they sound just as good (I think they sound better). The stock speakers will handle some serious power as long as you set your crossover right.

If I was to get the hertz 3 ways would the stock amp be sufficient enough to notice a big sound improvement over a non ml system or would you recommend an aftermarket amp? thank you in advanced.
