Default upgrade from a 250 to a 350? Most cost effective manner?

I like my 250awd but I'm feeling the need for a 350.

I know the AWD gets a lot of hate, but I'd actually like a 350 awd, in reality I'd love an ISF

What do you think the best route is to go. I've gotten that "we are looking for used cars and yours especially" letter from my local dealer...

any thoughts?

If you live in area that demands you having an AWD vehicle...what's better than the 100 additional ponies plus AWD? If you can afford the additional fuel consumption and higher car pymt, go for it! If you live down south with little winter weather and can afford the IS-F, what's stopping you?

Sell the IS350 privately and then shop for an IS350, if convenience is a consideration and you don't want the hassle of tire kickers and people coming to your house then do a trade in.

Have you compared cost of leasing an IS-F vs. cost of leasing an IS350?
Might be a good start.

You can even lease a CPO car. It doesn't have to be brand new. Maybe find a good CPO 350 & IS-F and find out what lease rates would be on those too. Compare with the lease rates for new ones and see what you think.

Next gen IS is coming out soon too, if you that appeals to you, maybe wait till then. Worst case scenario, you don't like the new IS and you get into an older model for even cheaper by then. I'm sure you can score a pretty nice deal on a 2013 model lease when they are trying to clear them out for the new model at that time.

Like all the above said. Most people on this board will tell you to sell 250 and buy a 350. it is the most cost effective way. If you have enough money set aside, you may even look into ISF. I would check insurance first tho.
