Default Maintenance for '07 IS350

I've had this '07 IS350 with 73k miles for few days and love it.

I bought it from someone who used it as a company car and had it serviced regularly at a Lexus dealership and when I pulled a maintenance history from Lexus Drivers website, it listed all services done up to 65k mile service in July 2012.

Is there anything special I need to have done to the car except for regular oil changes, air filter, cabin filter, etc? Tires and brakes were done fairly recently (non at Lexus dealership).

check to see if sparkplugs were changed at 60k.

You could go longer all the way to 100k without changing them, but if you enjoy preventative maintenance, changing them at 60k is recommended.

then youre fine. monitor everything and with regular maintenance it should last you a long time. people on here have gone as far as 120k with no serious work.

one thing youll want to look at is the water pump. its been known to have issues but seeing as its been serviced at a lexus dealership all its life im sure its been monitored and has been fine this whole time. Nice pick-up btw

match up the online service record to the book and see if there is something missing.

I recommend engine oil change at the dealership ($50-70) and at the time ask the service advisor to see if your car is missing anything. It is possible he/she may tell you that the car needs some services not necessary but you can always decline at the time and come back to check (with the book or us clublexuser) if those are really needed.

Every 5k- oil change
Every 15k- check air/cabin filters
Every 30k- change those, and brake fluid
Every 60k- spark plugs
Every 100k- coolant

that's it.

Anything else is as-needed wear items (tires, brakes, wipers, etc)... anything "every X miles" not list is the dealer trying to sell you stuff you don't need.

Above oil if you plan to service at the dealer- do NOT ask for the "X miles" service. Just ask for the specific items you need

Otherwise they'll double the price and not do any needed extra work.
