Good evening ladies and gents,
A 2007 Tungsten Pearl AWD IS250 near me has recently sparked my interests. The car has grey leather, wood trim, and navigation. The ticker shows 102,1xx and is listed for sale at $15,700, although can be had for $15,200. The car has had 2 owners, no accidents, and full service history to boot. On the test drive, I noticed that the car had a relatively loud "whirring" noise while decelerating from 45-40 mph, but instantly went away as soon as I put the car in neutral. I've read that it could possibly be the wheel bearings, although that's not something that would go away in neutral. I'm not very familiar with how the AWD systems work, although I'm aware it could be the transfer case going sour? If anyone could shed some light on this for me, I would truly appreciate it.

I would wait and look for one with less miles (especially if you don't need AWD). I bought my 07 IS350 72k with all options other than ML audio and smart cruise control (?) for less than $17k. IMO, it's worth spending little more for 350 for the extra 100hp.
