Murdered the "f" out would have included tinted tails, blackhoused headlamps, and blackhoused fogs. It's a good start for the look you're going for though.
If it was me going this route, I would have done the above, then plasti-dipped the car, only instead of dipping the chrome trim, emblems, grille surround and door handles, I would have had those all painted (or vinyl wrapped, since we're going cheap with the "paint" too) gloss black. That way you still get the all-black-everything look while retaining good contrast on the accents. I'd also paint the exhaust tips gloss black.
This is a very cost-effective way to change up the look for a year or two.
OP, if you like it, keep working at it. There are some wonderfully done matte IS's here. I think what everyone here is trying to say is it looks incomplete
