Take your license plates off. I havent had plates on any of my cars in 3 years. In the few times I have actually been pulled over, I just explain they were stolen. Its a $20 fix it ticket in California, and there is no limit to how many you can get. (I think I've had 5 or 6?). Also pays for itself if you have to go over any bridges or toll roads

In BC, Canada there is the traffic light does have a slight delay. What I mean is that, when the other traffic changes to red, your traffic doesn't get green until at least a second later. Then the cameras will turn on.
This differs compared to what I've seen in WA where just at the other traffic turns red, your traffic gets green at the same time the other traffic gets red.
Speaking of red light cameras haha.

This new broadcast clip also shows that sprays don't work. In fact, it could actually enhance the plate too!
You could use the plate flipper thou but I don't advise that ha ha hah!
Here is another method such that the camera doesn't work!

Same goes for Newark, CA. My friend was issued a $200+ camera citation for this: Right turn on an intersection with a red-light. She made a dead-stop on the stoplight before turning, for about 10 seconds. A few weeks later, she received a nasty surprise in the mail stating that she ran a red-light. After asking some local cops, they said the vehicle have to wait "at least" 30 seconds still before turning even when there is no incoming traffic, or else it is considered to be a red-light violation.

I like the quote:
"Red-light cameras are a money-making enterprise for the cities that deploy them,"
Easier solution is to be more careful, I think!
