you can buy the same exact exhaust Just not called "M2" on ebay for $230 shipped to your door and its Or best offer. It is made out of the same exact material and if im not mistaken made at the same factory just a different vendor selling it on ebay. or buy the Tanabe just for the name like most Lexus owners would for $780-900 new or if you happen to find one used with scratches probably for $500 if not more. Nice looking cheap exhaust that you will enjoy for a while.

and if you want to go louder do what smatt01 did and get yourself some Invidia mid pipe

Yeah, that looks like the one that's been going around. There's a SoCal local reseller that's been advertising the same product on Craigslist - looks like the same construction/quality.

^ M2 is 4" tip and that one is 3.75"
Could be just marketing to differentiate between the M2 name, someone gotta buy it and measure lol

Here's my vid of my M2 axle back. It's a before and after I did the resonator delete. In all honesty I think its the best bang for your buck, but I wanted something a bit more louder so I got the delete which was super cheap. Bought the exhaust from ebay for $280 shipped and the delete cost me $30 bucks. Sounds great and not "ricey".

my suggestion is they are cheap and sound horrible...at first you will ike it because you are hearing sound now but give it a month and you are going to be like man I shouldv'e saved more and get a HKS or Greddy instead...just my opinion. There's a reason they are cheap

I think the only people that can speak on M2's behalf is either people who HAVE it or have HEARD it in person. Just my 2 cents. I just bought one so I'll report back . Even the guy with the boosted IS350 liked the M2 better than the authentic brands. Do you really think someone with a boosted IS350 not have change for a "better" exhaust? It's all personal preference.

Forums have changed. Fortunately/Unfortunately, a lot of the older members have moved on, but if you look into the older threads (pre-2009/2008), you'll see that there was a lot of hate on CL for replica parts. It was either spend a few thousand on parts, or just don't mod at all. I'm borderline grateful for the fact that a lot of this attitude has faded, but now we're predictably going to have mods that include cutting springs and homemade exhausts soon as the 2IS become relatively inexpensive.

So, so true... I'm doing my best to keep the proper modding game alive, as well as a few others around here!! 2013 is only bring bigger and better mods to my car

I've had the M2 on my 350 for a year or so now, and it's been great. I wanted quiet, and it certainly is that. But it's throaty and keeps it somewhat classy IMO. I wouldn't want it any louder. It fit fine after bending one of the hangars a little, but it was off a little out of the box. Mine still looks good and sounds great. I live in AZ though, so rusting wouldn't really happen here. Basically, I would say if you're not a brand ***** it is a great option.
