Hi everyone,

I purchased my first Lexus over the weekend, '09 IS350.

Here is a link of the car I bought;

http://www.lawautogroup.com/web/used...inois/5960516/

I got him down to $23,000, I think I got a pretty good deal on her but wanted some of your thoughts as well....

I am coming from a '06 M45, totaled her the past weekend when I hit a sheet of ice on the on-ramp to the interstate and right into the cement wall, everyone was ok!

I took the car to a local mechanic in Chicago and he said everything looks fine with the car and didnt see any problems and the car looks super clean and ran great.

Looking through the website, I like the FAQ and other stickys at the top of the thread. Very nice set up you guys have here, looks like there is some very knowledgeable people on here.

Welcome to the club. Great pick up you will enjoy the power. Did you get them to replace the missing part by the driver side fog lamp?

Yes, that was replaced, I saw that and made sure it was taken care of.

Thanks!

Congrats on the IS and welcome to CL. You got a hell of a deal. I have the same exact year, color and model but mine has the sport package. You will find a lot of useful information on here.

Welcome, Thats a hell of a deal. whats wrong with it and hows the carfax or autocheck? Mileage seems to be okay but with missing parts makes me think shes been banged around?

Yes that piece was replaced, CarFax and AutoCheck were both clean.

No curb checks on the rims and underneath didn't look like the car has been bottomed out or anything and no rust, super clean.

The price I paid and the NADA/KBB price were different and that kind of has me nervous... hopefully nothing is wrong w the car...
