Default Am I getting ripped off?

Hi, looking to buy a cpo is250 Lexus.. Found one that's 2010 with 7700 miles listed for close to 32,000. It seems high priced to me but I'm not sure. It's awd and loaded with the luxury package(nav and all that good stuff) the dealer said he can offer it for 30,000.. Am I going to be getting ripped off if I paid that much? They have a 2012 with 12,000 miles listed for 33,000. I don't get how that really makes sense since it's also the same but with the sports package and it's a 2012 . I didn't like the 2012 color combo so that's why I wasn't looking at it. I looked at kbb and all of that but I'm really confused. I'm female so not sure if they are pulling a fast one on me. I'm coming from a 2007 is250 which was in an accident and never bought a used car so not sure how it works. Thanks for the help!

Instead of paying 30k for a 2010 just wait till summer and lease a new 2014 ISx50

Their banking on the low miles on the 2010, plus its loaded. Without haggling and they dropped to 30, which is more realistic for a 3 year car. Your also experiencing what Toyota's are known for and that is less depreciation than other makers. Me personally, I would be shooting for 28500 - 29. In my opinion, that would be a bargain. I would also check the two famous used car sites cars and autotrader and get a feel whats going on in your region. Then go after it with some data in your bargaining. If no luck, there are other places to check too. Be patient and stay firm to what YOU want to pay. That's my story, and the internet is full of them. Good luck!

About a year ago, I was looking to buy a 3 year old IS250, with nav but not luxury package, with about 25,000 miles and was offered $26,500. The one you're looking at is with 7,700 miles so I would say around $29,000 ... I think someone who has bought a car recently is better at relating to what the current price is.

I think it is a bad deal. I just bought a 2012 350 with 9k for 35000. No way I would pay 30 for a 3 year old 250. I think the 2011 250 is going for 30k here in texas

Thanks guys for the help.. Much appreciated. Seemed like a ripoff.. He came back with 28,500.In my area they have non cpo 2011 is250 for 28,000 with 20,000 miles but it's at a Toyota dealership. Got some decisions to make but I think I'll take my time.

I would stay looking at CPO. You're looking at 1-2k over what non CPOs go for in order to cover your butt down the road if something goes wrong.

I think CPO is not that important for newer cars still under basic warranty. Like for the 2012 CPO and non-CPO is the same, but you pay more. For 2010, it's better to get CPO, but if it's still under basic warranty, for ~$1400 you can get Lexus extended warranty for 4 more years.
