Someone needs to hardware that nav unit...

I'm not a big fan of the JDM VIP scene myself but if that's your thing - looks like it should :-)

Thanks. No I haven't. I've been in Virginia for some Navy training since November. I'm actually on the road back to San Diego right now though. Just checked into a hotel in Nashville, TN like 20 minutes ago. Looking forward to going to meets though. The scene in VA was weak.

I sure do need to hardwire it lol I just don't know where I would run the wire so it's hidden

I didn't do it for the VIP look. I'm Buddhist and my family's cars have always had a Buddha of some sort hanging from the mirror for protection/good luck. I also have a little Buddha on the corner of my dashboard. I've had that thing since I was a kid

You see him? :P

Clearly, if you let a monkey in your car, it will turn red as it moves up and to the right.

But he has the right idea, that would have been another way to hang it without removing anything. Like a wrist strap for a digital camera,

Monkey! Lol

I had to remove it unless I cut the string. The medallion thing is all one piece, no disconnecting parts or anything. Removing the mirror was so easy though. one T-20 screw and comes right off.
