my coworker's base '09 335i sedan seems so fast than my IS350 off the line
i noticed the twin turbo in the 335i really makes the car launch off the line. although the 0-60 numbers of the two are similar, but my IS350 feels a lot slower during the initial launch.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but although the horsepower we produce may be similar, the 335i's torque is greater than our cars. I also believe that the 335i has a more sporty/stiffer build. But just in general the car's are built differently and have completely different engines.
335i vs is350 thread
Check out this thread, there's a lot more but on different forums just google.
feeling fast and being faster is two completely different things, I've beaten 335i's from a dig and roll stock for stock. I mean they are twin turbo so i guess thats probably why they feel faster, wait til you tune one...pushs it to 370hp+

I didn't post the 335 was faster.Just felt that way with the twin turbo pull and sound.

when the 335i breaks down, you'll pass him up in a better appointed cabin
