noticed this two days ago. not sure if related, but i just had my oil changed at the dealer a week ago. anyways, when i'm at a stop light, the car would vibrate (very subtly) for 1-2 seconds and then back to normal. i would take it in to dealer except it does not happen regularly, so the chance they'll reproduce the symptom is very low. any suggestion on why caused this random subtle vibration?

According to the dealerships it's both the IS250 and IS350, at least that what it says on their computers. I believe it's a much higher chance that it effects IS250's compared to the IS350's though.

My car does that too! Exact same symptoms you described, vibrates ever so slightly as im at a stoplight. I have always suspected it was due to carbon buildup but i have never been able to prove it. I know that the is350 is not suppose to suffer from it, but could there be a miniscule amount of carbon being built up?
I have started to add techron injector cleaner every 5k miles for the last 20k miles; it doesn't seem to have any effect. My next step i plan on trying is to seafoam my car, but i haven't had the time yet, nor the knowledge.

Nevertheless OP, just call the dealership and describe the problem you're feeling and they'll probably tell you to book an appointment and get it checked out.

Really? Maybe it's different for where you live... I'm in Canada, and they showed me me on their computer and it says IS250 and IS350, I was pretty surprised that they said IS350 I even asked the service manager and a technician and they said both cars have this problem.

this random occurrence has increased in frequency recently. i scheduled an dealer visit later this week. the SA told me they're going to run a series of mis-fire tests but told me the test was really designed for IS250 and GS300s. i saw someone brought up it could be a fuel pump issue, any other suggestions before i bring her in?
