Glad everyone in the car is okay. Many people that get hit by drunk drivers cant' say the same. I hope they are able to find this kid that hit you cuz this kinda thing is no joke. Glad you got his plates.... Especially if he'd been drinking, he deserves a little time for DUI + Hit & Run. If your car is that damaged, i'm sure his car suffered noticeable damage as well so it shouldn't be too hard to prove it was him if they can track him down from the plates.

Glad to hear everyone was safe and sound. Sorry about the total loss. But having another 2IS as a back-up car ain't so bad. LOL!

So I picked up the IS250c today until I buy something new. This car is black and after getting the dirt knocked off at the car wash I was inspired to detail it later this week. I ordered the porter cable 7424xp online!

1. Have any of you used this on the your car/lexus paint?
2. Will I be able to use the polisher where the clear bra is on the front bumper/hood?

The IS250c isn't quite as sporty as the sedan in terms of handling, and that's making me consider buying another IS if it weren't for the lack of interior room. What's the consensus on the RX350? I like what's going on with the interior but outside is just blah, right? Another option is the 4runner limited but I would hate to leave the Lexus service that I've grown to love. Thanks for any advice!

I'd grab the RX350 F-sport. Those things are a beauty!

To answer your question, I don't think you can use a polisher with clear bra.

If you want lexus, sporty, and room, why don't you look at the GS. Seems to be a perfect match for you, and since the all new redesign GS just debuted, it would be a good car to get permanently because it wont go out of style any time soon.
