No regrets at all on the 2010 IS250 purchase almost 3 yrs later. I was on a recent highway trip (3 hours one way) and the trip computer was displaying in the 37.5 mpg range for an extended period of time (though I guess I was downwind since I couldnt achieve same on the way back... maybe 34-35 is more typical for highway), yet the engine is quiet and strong and smooth. When I say strong I mean for normal driving, I wouldn't race anyone with it but maturity wise I'm far beyond that. I'm still on the original tires and brakes which have plenty left after three years, which would have never happened with my old Maxima, it was too powerful and torquey. I had to put new tires on that every year and it ate through rotors and pads quickly. Still not a squeak or rattle throughout the car.

When I bought this car, it was with the memory of near $4/gallon gas prices in mind. They were lower at the time but I have not regretted the decision because they have trended upward overall since. It's not about whether I could afford more or not, I make a really good living.... it's that pouring money into the fuel tank so often and at such a huge rate just gets on my nerves knowing the kinds of people behind those organizations. So gas mileage is important to me, and this car impresses for how it performs.

Areas for improvement? Sure... the steering wheel leather is too soft.... it flaked out on me, literally, and they replaced under warranty. Second wheel has held up a lot better, but if anything rubs against it accidentally it can scuff the leather. The dash rubber has held up pretty well so far, but then again mine is garaged or in shade most of the time when not driven.

I bought my 350 brand new. I don't regret it but I do ask myself if I should have gotten a ISF instead.

Only thing I regret is not waiting out for a good 350. Still love my 250 though, the time for beginning mods is approaching though.

No regrets. If I had to do it all over again, I might have gone down scale to more of a "family" sedan; but based on the '07 choices, I would still choose the IS.

Starting to have some regrets, because of the whole carbon build up issue. My service advisor told me that if I didn't have proof of regular oil changes, I would've had to pay $6,000 to fix the issue. It could've been total BS, but knowing the fix is just a temporary fix I would hate to come across the same issue later down the road and have to pay for it. Thinking I should sell it before it happens again.

Nobody really knows how temporary it will be, since nobody has had the issue with the newer pistons as far as I know. Regardless, a top-end clean (versus actually replacing the pistons) is going to be much cheaper if it is ever required in the future.

I've only owned my car about 11 months (coming up to my one year the end of the month) and I do not reget my purchase in any aspect. My IS being a 250 with AWD, I'm not the least bit concerned about power and am perfectly fine with all the small rattles and noises that come with it.

You know i will have to admit this. I should have waited to buy the 2013 BMW M6 but i wanted something a bit more practical. To date i love everything about my IS350 and want to take it even further still!

I don't regret my 350 one bit, all the features I wanted, the power and exactly how I would have "built it" online.

Only things I don't like but don't bother me much is engine ticking, random interior sounds, TC actually staying off('06), a USB port, a 6 speed option and an easy way to tune it.. Like AEM, Haltech.. Etc..

The new IS-250-awd that i bought my Wife is a great little performer. It's more fun to drive than my RX-350. The garnet red is a great color also.
It's new but so far we like it,and have no buyers remorse.
