Default My first novice GoPro production with my IS350

So yeah, I finally had the chance to wrap up my first attempt at video editing using the footage from my Hero3. Footage was taken in Jan on the first sunny Sunday of the year. I haven't quite figured out how to reduce the wind buffeting to a bearable level, so I had the music up in this vid. Got plenty more raw footage to play with, but this is going be it for now. ENJOY!

Comments and suggestions welcome!

First critique: 1080p man! At least 720.
Try different angles, it feels like you're driving in a big circle lol. Mix it up. Front fender view looks good. Inside (stick it to the inside of the sunroof). Try the hood too

Did you use the suction cup mount? I'm weary about sticking that thing outside and going fast.

Added the HD video content! Took it over night to decode or whatever it does.

Yes, I have footage from other angles (front windshield looking forward and rear window looking back); the thing is I only have one camera and took three trips to get all videos done. Each at different speeds I'm sure. So none of the video would align over time.

Yeah, anyone with GoPro experience and knowledge on how to limit the wind buffeting would be greatly appreciated! Supposedly the Hero3 helped with the buffeting...hard to tell to me!

Buy a microphone, plug it into the GoPro, and mount the microphone somewhere inside your car (I would try the inside of the trunk).

I have had my GoPro mounted all over my car while running on a race track at speeds north of 120mph...it will not fall off, so don't worry

Check out my videos for some angle ideas...https://www.youtube.com/user/quickbulldog

^Yeah, I have to agree...I've attached the suction cup to the rear window on my wife new car and try pulling it off with a good amount of force. Didn't budge.

I'll reaseach an external mic option.

Thanks all! Move vids to come for sure!

I'm surprised the battery lasted that long. What mode/setting did you shoot on?

just the standard equipment. nothing fancy. recorded in video mode under 1080p/30fps. edited with cineform studio. captured 1 shot every 10 frames and added frame blend (aka motion blur)

Oh I didn't know you could do that in Cineform. Thought you had to do the timelapse mode for that. Ha! Thanks.
