I'm excited!
The settlement is handled like any accident. No others were involved so insurance was happy about that! They covered the car (I took off the mods and replaced everything back to stock) so as far as I know they don't know that the car was modded. The thing I don't know is whether or not my payments will go up if it is "an act of god" ): Hopefully not, but will keep everyone posted and build thread soon!

I'm interested in how the settlement was handled since no one was at fault? It's okay if you want to keep it on the down low. I just had always wondered these things!

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome (:

I am from Socal. I do a lot of my work with some guys from RoyalOrigin if you've heard of them, specifically jimmy, yoshi, kentaro.

Treated like any other accident but insurance was happy that no one else was involved. I removed the mods before the adjuster came so as far as i know the insurance does NOT know the car was modded. Didn't have the mod coverage so I dont think it even matters (just saved all my parts before they took the car). What I'm waiting to find out is whether or not my rates will go up /:

Should be picking up the IS350 on saturday. Will post pics when I get it all washed and waxed. Probably will not be modding it for awhile since I need to sell all my parts from running stupid low, stupid stretch, stupid camber on the civic. Mods to come when its parted out and the heat from the accident has cooled down!

Welcome to CL. While your Civic was nice, I think you'll enjoy your IS350 even more
