Default Brake Steer (after hard turn)

I live in New Orleans, a lot of U turns required here. Every time I hit a U turn hard, afterwards the car pulls hard in the direction I turned when I apply the brakes even slightly.

I'm assuming this is a stability control affect that lingers after the fact.

I consider this a huge safety hazard honestly. Anyone have any info on the matter?

it sounds like it could be the brake caliper not releasing the brake pad when it is supposed to release after turning. does it only do this on turns while braking? or also when going straight and braking and accelerating after ?

After traveling a few hundred yeards after the U turn, with the wheel straight (been for a while in fact) I will apply the brakes and the car will pull hard in the same direction as I turned.

Try this, with the wheel straight go straight and press the brakes lightly at first and then do it again hard. IF it pulls while going straight that means you have a flat or low pressure. Otherwise maybe your alignment is off.

This is not normal. There is nothing that the stability control system would do that would cause this. You should probably get it looked at.
