I'm glad I've never ran a front plate on any of my cars. Really makes the front end ugly lol.

I just got a ticket from city code enforcement while i was parked! Not on the IS but on my Jeep.

I don't have it on. Just have to test your luck. Been running without front plates for 10+ years and did not have a problem. It is mostly depending on where you go. As for me, my car are either in company parking lot or in garage or occasionally at friends place during the night. It is more of a family style life which has much less risk of getting spotting by metermaid or police.

If you really don't want it on, take a chance. Fix-it ticket is $20-$30 anyway and I think it is better than other method which costs money too. Or actually conforming with the law is the safest and best way.
