So, as we all know there is currently no chip or ECU decryption to increase the performance on our 2IS's.

However, considering the new 3IS have the exact same engine, doesnt that maybe give us more hope that people will still try to come out with a way to unlock it? Because now this means that this engine will continue to be produced for at least another 6 years. So is any of this relevant? what do you all think?

I know the engine is essentially the same, but the transmission is entirely different. So that might prevent us from swapping ECU

Tranny on the 2014 is an 8 speed based on the isf current tranny.

Now THAT sounds like a cool mod....
