Default Dealer warranty work for intermittent idle, get it back and it's worse

Anyone have any clues if the intermittent idle issue that's being serviced by Lexus causes this to happen?

Long story
I always noticed the 2007 Lexus IS250 would sputter randomly, and very sporadically (not reproducible that I could tell) when arriving at red lights here and there.

Coincidentally, I got a letter in the mail stating that rough idle issues were being serviced by Lexus, so I had my car taken to get checked out. Turns out it had the issue per the service tech I was teamed up with, and they proceeded to order new parts (pistons too, apparently). The work was done about 1 mo later.

Now I'm starting to randomly get this, also not able to reproduce on demand but caught a video of it. Any clues if this is related to the work done by Lexus or something else?

I definitely plan to; just waiting to hear back from my service manager about it. I love this car, but it certainly spends more time in the shop than I prefer.

just happened to me today as well. and waiting to hear back from my SA and i agree with you being spent more time at the dealer than me actually driving it....

edit

didnt see the video cus i was at work before i had a different problem actually, the check VSC and traction off came back on. called SA says to open gas cap let air out for a few seconds and close it then leave car off for a little and that should do the trick and it did. still dont think it was that since i already had the recall done of the gas pressure cap....

Brought my car back today for the same issue. It's really frustrating. I too love this car, but I'm wondering if I bought a lemon.

Most 250s may be affected by this, its the carbon build up issue. Do a search for carbon buildup and you will find a huge thread
