Does it sounds like the 3IS 350 F-Sport? I drove one today and it sounds very sporty compared to the 2IS 350...

buy a used sound generator and I do not see the difference I have to flooring up to 5000 rpm to hear it, it will not work in 250 maybe jeff knows how to adjust it or maybe it's me.

It's not a huge difference, but it's definitely noticeable for sure. There are no adjustments.

just change the filter for a new one and now if it sounds like a v8, the old filter was very dirty, now if it's a monster.jeff is always right

Reset the ECU. I find it sounds meaner once the ecu relearn process is finished. 200 miles + fo me. I have a AEM Dryflow filter. Not OEM.

I have owned a weird sound generator that was built by Ray. It is, well, weird. It's meant to be tweaked for fun. I sold it because I wanted control over various parameters that I could not discern from the WSG.

Is it possible to use a cone filter with this pipe?

If you're going to remove the existing air filter box, possibly depending on measurements of the cone filter, but the question is why? You're opening yourself up to heat soak, and for the most part, not gaining much of anything. Best bet is to grab the F-Sport lower box, or custom make a hole in your existing air filter box if you're looking for noise.

This pipe does not affect the filter at all.

My question is where is he going to put the MAF sensor? The lid holds the MAF.

Don't care about horses.

Imagine a cold (hot) air intake + sound generator.

That would sound amazing!

The sound would be mostly from the open filter at that point. Again you'll have to be able to mount a MAF housing adapter. Other wise your car won't start, and you're never going to hear the intake roar.

Find something similar to mount the MAF pipe to filter. Maybe 3 inch to 3 inch. I'm not sure if you have a 350, or 250 though. The 350 pipe diameter is 3 inches. The 250 is 2.75 inches. Hope this helps some.

Which is why I suggested just either getting the lower F-Sport intake box, or cutting a hole in your own box in addition to having the sound generator intake.

Not possible.. It's just like OEM.. Needs the air box with panel filter.
