what the difference between A and B beside what car it was meant for? The fitment should be the same.
Is there a difference in piping size? A 3 inch, B 2.75?
If I remember correctly the 250 "B" it tapers down to accommodate the smaller throttle body size. The "A" for the 350 has the correct size for the throttle body. The 350 pipe does seem slightly larger in diameter as well.

I see, so if I have a is250 I should be getting the B model as the A model won’t have the correct size to mount to the throttle body?
The throttle body size difference is quite small (haven't measured). I suspect a B will fit both, but the A may be a bit too big to tighten down on an IS250 throttle body. Aftermarket intakes (including the F-Sport) use the same coupler to the throttle body on the 2GR and 4GR.
I've got both kicking around here somewhere, at some point maybe I'll compare them more directly.

Thanks Jeff thats was what I was referring to. When mounting the 350 it seems it actually just sits over the throttle body on the 250. While the 250 versions fits snug on the throttle body. I've also read posts where people mention that getting the 3.00" sleeve on the 350 is difficult.
The one for the 350 is marked A. The one for the 250 is marked B. It looks like you may of purchased the 250.
That is correct, I purchased mine from a 3IS 250. Couldn’t find a 3IS 350. The B does have a smaller opening at the throttle body and it a bit of elbow grease to get it attached but one it was attached it was good to go.
Well, I just picked one up for 40 bucks. I just need to purchase a new hose to connect to the crankcase. Right now I have a custom intake I made with 3” carbon fiber piping. It’s a bit louder than stock but still quiet. I just wanted the carbon pipe to help with heat soak.
Has anyone really run this generator with the fsport lower air box, or cut a hole on the bottom?
Im just wondering if it would sound better with the lower box cut as well, or just stock with the generator only...
My idea is to run the generator pipe, cut the hole in the lower box along with removing all the grids and sand the box smooth. Maybe remove the upper lid mesh/carbon filter element as well. On my custom intake I had to run the vac hose into the crank case, when I ran a breather filter on the crank case I got CEL... Has anyone tried plugging the nipple on the sound generator pipe, and running a breather on crankcase. Are there issues?
