Default FSport Dead Pedal issue

Help. I installed the Fsport aluminum pedals and the dead pedal keeps poping off. Is there anyway to ensure it is secure? I hear it click in place on both posts, but it keeps coming loose.

There are two white clips (white plastic grommets, to be specific) that should be at the end of each pillar. If they're not "clicking" in as stated, see if these pieces are broken.

Once it clicks in there, it should be hard to get it out. If it's just falling out, something is wrong.

The white clips from the old one didn't stay on the floor did they? If so, you'll want to remove them from the floor, or remove the new white clips from the new pedal before clipping it down. Not sure if that's your issue, but it is a potential one, since the white clips do like to stay on the floor sometimes when removing the pedal.

They stayed on floor. Do I just pull them straight out?

Just in case someone hears a similar click noise and the pedal feels like it moves, it could be because one of the plastic parts inside the dead pedal actually broke. Happened to me! Had to plastic weld the thing to fix it. Now remounted and solid! Also was the sport dead pedal, if it matters.
