Default AVS Visors

I just bought a set of AVS visors, and I have a few questions on installing them. For the driver and passenger visors, there's a tab that goes under the triangle plastic part, I was wondering if you guys trim about one inch on top of the tab to have it fit? Or what methods did you guys use to make it sit flush with the chrome?

lol If I do that, then there will be the tabs at the end just chillen, and it'll look weird, but I heard people tuck the tab under the plastic piece, and if I do that, then the chrome on the car doesn't line up to the chrome on the visors

Thats why most ppl have bought the JDM visors instead. But from what I have read everyone has either cut it off or dremeled it off

I just shoved mine under the plastic piece lol. From my memory, it looked pretty good. I haven't looked at it closely for a long time though.

that was my issue when i installed mine. It will fit behind the triangle piece, slowly put it in and you should be good to go. I have had no issues with mine yet, 10 months strong.
