So I went to a Lexus dealer today to shop for a 2009 or 2010 IS250. After negotiating, we were finally able to agree on $25,500 for a 2010 IS250 with 36,000 miles (glacier frost mica, black interior, Navi, heated seats, luxury package). The $25,500 included a $900 "Dealer Preparation Fee". Tax (NY 8.875%) not included in the $25,500. Do you think that was a good or an "OK" deal? Thanks in advance.

a few years ago i was in your position. i got my 2006 is350 in 2009 with 38k. it also had lux package, heated seats and navi. i paid 25k with no taxes included Connecticut taxes. i was happy with my deal because when the car was put up for sale it started at 33k. i waited 2 months and got it for 25k. i think your deal is fair. also go to kbb.com and look up the value of the car that will also help.

The car is not certified pre-owned, but it still has the manufacturer warranty for another 11 months or 50K miles whichever comes first. It has the Luxury Plus Package. The total after taxes and all those other fees is about $28,000. So would you say I got a fair deal? I already put a $500 deposit and will put another $4,500 down payment this coming Friday. I just want some assurance

I just bought my 2010 Lexus IS250 two weeks ago with 33k miles, one owner, Navigation, heat/ventilated seats, HID, 18"wheels for $21k from private owner. so i paid with tax $22k total so I don;t think it's a good deal.
If it's not CPO why buy from a dealer, you can save yourself thousands by finding a private owner and still get original warranty. Plus you can pay the taxes only for the borrowed money and not for the entire amount and save even more.

Since everyone is chiming in, not trying to hijack the thread but let's see what everyone thinks of my deal. 2012 IS350 with 4k miles, loaded with only exception being no ML stereo for $31,500. Good deal or not so much?

AWD or RWD? Certified preowned? I think that's a really good deal if $31,500 includes all the taxes and fees.
