That looks like a total to me or I would at least want it to be totaled. What it all comes down to is that you're okay!

Latest pictures from the adjuster today. I'm currently at $19,413.36 in damages. Waiting for the adjuster to get the ACV (actual cash value) of my vehicle. That means the current market value with taxes included. Since vales are not online because it is so new. They have to call around local dealerships and auction houses. My adjuster is also checking with the wrecking yard to see what they could sell it for. Tomorrow (Tuesday) I should have a definite answer if it is totaled or not. Praying it still goes that way!

I plan on it. I will be buying another Lexus for sure, no matter what the outcome is.

Usually 70%-75% of the car's value cost is the limit for a repair and a total..

From my understanding, if a vehicle has a certain percantage in damages VS the vehicle value, you can push your way and force them to do a TOTAL LOSS. I can be wrong. I have a used auto dealership myself. I can tell you roughly values on that vehicle if you need. I personally would definitely not want my brand new car with less then 500 miles on it getting $20k in repairs done to it. Granted itll look brand enw as if the accident never happened BUT, it was brand new anyway! You'll also take a ding on CARFAX report for a major accident. All around, like you said, try to get it total loss. I am glad you are okay, breaks my heart to see a TEMP tag on the vehicle and getting sandwiched in an accident.

PM me if you need any assistance with values(i own a used auto dealer), insurance questions(my best friend owns a State Farm branch)

My adjuster knows I want it totaled. I know he has to do his job, but I think he knows that really would be stupid to fix a brand new car. They will make profit to sell it, plus they get to bill out the insurance behind me for the rear end damages, about $8,000. They will come out ahead.

From what I've been told, since there isn't any frame damage, someone would buy this car up, and the bidding would go high, since it is brand new.
