Default I have some questions on the 2012 headlights

I know I'll probably get schooled on this but I just did the 2012 conversion on my 2006 IS an I have a question for the knowledgeable gurus up in here.

1- how do you get the LEDs to run as your DRL's when you turn on ignition because right now my LEDs only turn on when I turn the parking lights on.

2- for the mean time if I don't have a knowledgeable dealership that does not know how to disable the DRL's can I just remove the fuse? And will that have a negative affect if I leave it like that other than not being able to turn hi beams on.

Thanks in advance.

The answers to both your questions deal with rewiring. You need the LED strip to be rewired to the DRL feature which will also disable your DRL bulb. If you're in SoCal, hit up Tommy @ MusicBox and he can do it for you.

It takes the dealership like 5min to turn off the DRLs. For my LEDs I just leave the lights on the first setting so it stays on when the car is on, I didn't want to to any wiring. They shut off anyway when you turn off the car.
