My IS 350 Drift car
Hi everybody, my name is Dmitry, surname is Sannikov, I'm from far and mysterious city called Moscow which is in Russia. I'm not going to tell you about vodka and bears, we have a lot of other interesting things here, for example - my Lexus IS 350 which is being prepared by me and my drifting team at the moment. And if this story is interesting for you, I'll be blogging to show you and tell what I do, what I work on and what this beautiful Japanese car is going to turn to.
To start with, I have my own tuning company here in Moscow, we also provide cars with necessary equipment and make all preparations for drifting.
We do it on a professional level, my friend has been engaged in drifting for 5 years, he takes parts in rides of RDS Major LEague, however, as far as I have not so much time I can only pay attention to amateur rides.
We had Toyota ALTEZZA in 2011, it had 1JZ engine and 154 gearbox, we added a motor control, so there was 320 HP as a result.
I chose bright blue painting in combination of white; besides, as our people are fond of different cartoon heroes or vinyl, we came to decision of adding a picture of Sonic.
This car had been actively exploited for a season without any reworks and technical failures during all this period. It was sold to create something new which became Toyota Mark 2 painted in pink and having the similar technical specification.
This car proved its excellence in all events it took part in; it brought much fame to Domo Kun here as well.
But later it was also sold with a view to another project in 2013, ideas were born as far back as in 2011 and were based on Lexus IS 350.
Well, today I'm going to tell you about this car, how we do it, what it is for etc. We left a basic vehicle construction, however, the engine and gearbox are planned to be replaced - I find this decision logical because it is hard to find necessary spare parts in Russia, especially for tuning - it is really a big trouble here. Almost everything is delivered from China, the quality is terrible which is not suitable in car sport at all, meanwhile, original parts are three or four times more expensive which makes it also inconsiderable.
We could try our own manufacturingn even using the machines made in a period of Second World War, but it will be also expensive, or we could lose an order at all because the turner responsible will be drinking vodka or doing something like this. We chose well-known for us 2JZ engine as a heart which is supposed to work in pair with 154th gearbox and ceramic clutch.
To provide it with more HP we'll add it with GTX 3076; forged pistons CP are mounted inside, AEM management system will be installed to be responsible for successful maintenance. Also installed: K-Sport suspension,JBT brakes, WiseFab eversion, Cusco stabilization. it was agreed to leave the basic vehicle construction, I like its laconic forms very much. I only added splitters and ailerons manufactured ourselves.
The painting is bright and stylish, this color is very popular this year. If you look at my previous projects, you can see that I like experimenting on colors. For example, my Evo:
Or manually assembled Nissan Silvia:
My Jeep SRT8
I have also other examples to show, all of them can be found on my web-site (http://pro-service.cc/), hopefully I'll not be banned for an advertising.
At the moment we are on step of assembling, preparation to a first ride and final adjustments, so I'll post some photos and videos later!
I'll be glad to see you among my friends

When I considered the car to drift, looking something which is not there on the tracks.
We have it for the most part Altezza, Silvia, Supra and a lot of BMW.
Drift this is a fan and beauty, to me, therefore, Lexus just comes to this.
