The downside to the switchbacks are that they are not as bright as the standard turn signal bulb. I've had mine setup with the switchbacks with the V-LEDs and when through several versions of their switchback led bulbs but ultimately went back to standard incandescent switchback bulbs. you can notice all the pictures showing brightness are taken when the ambient light is low such as dusk or dawn or just plain in the dark. A bit misleading. Just my $.02.

If you really want a good test, it should be done more like this, I'll re-use the quote.
This one below is plasma.
Had a chance to get a a video about an hour ago. It was rain, then snow, then the sunlight broke through. Put the LED lights back in and put them on for this footage while the sun is out - Reverse light CREE also included in part of it.
Ultimately I want to take a video when all the lights are in, which will be done once my next project is completed.

As promised. Here is the day video.
It has white vs amber vs stock. It may appear the stock amber is brighter because it looks like its radiating out of the housing but it's is really the white one and notice how much cleaner is shines out of the housing.
Best viewed in 720p HD.

I have the LEDs for my front flashers and love it. It matches my DRLs and 6000k headlights. But you will have to modify your flasher relay or install a resistor pack to get the flash rate to slow down.
You can change out the flasher relay, but be aware that some standard Toyota flashers will not have the flashing indication when you lock your doors with your key fob (read the link below). There is an aftermarket relay that you can purchase which will allow the LEDs to flash when locked. But I can't remember who sells it.
But why spend the money when you can do the mod for $8...free if you modify your existing flasher relay. And learn something new....here's the link to the mod if anyone is interested:
