Default Either a steal or a time bomb....

So my car was totaled and I am going to have around 25k to spend on a new one. I am having a REALLY hard time finding a IS 350 so for fun I started looking for an IS F. Found this gem. 26k for a 2008, 76,000miles, "no accidents," and one owner.

http://www.carsforsale.com/used_cars...F_187469392_22

Average prices for 2008 IS-F is $39,370 (Carsforsale)
KKB says 30k-35k

If it wasn't on the other side of the nation I would be at this girls house tomorrow. A plane ticket would probably be worth it though.

This looks to good to be true, but if you contacted the seller and she confirmed the price then I say GO FOR IT it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to get a car like that for a price like that.

I'd be nervous. VERY nervous. There's got to be more to the story. When something sounds too good to be true, ____________.

eBay the buyer wanted $33k and the other site wants $26k. 7k drop off price looks like a red flags. eBay listing had the number with 415 area code in the bayarea.

The original link is so old, haha. Last updated 20 days ago.

Just because it's a 415 number doesn't mean that person's not in Yorba Linda though, just a mobile number.

$33k is what kbb estimates the car is worth, so it's a good time to pick up a 08' F if that's a good deal to you guys!

Wish I could get one, but even if I did, I'd have no money to mod it.

33k is way too much for me. 25k is my budget so I am looking at finding a 06-08 IS 350 then mod it. I would gladly chip in my own money for a 26k IS-F though

Did you register via lexus.com to view the service history. Just claim you are the owner of the car and register the VIN. You should be able to pull up all service reports.

Biggest red flag to me is 3 owners. 1 of them is bound to have abused the car
