Hey guys I need some advice and help if anyone knows much about this kind of stuff.
Well recently I purchased a supercharger kit that seemed to be custom made with a Vortech supercharger. The strange thing is that this supercharger kit, it runs off the water pump pulley and not the crank ?? Like I was given another water pump pulley like what we have already on our car and it adds onto (piggybacks) off the original water pulley then that drives with the supercharger pulley.... Whilst the LMS kit that I have been looking runs off the crank. Would this still be safe to run ?

I've never heard of this, but I do know, as a person that owns a suprcharger kit, and has had water pump bearing failure, that the water pump pulley is not exactly the most bulletproof assembly on our cars.
The crank pulley torques with enough force to flex a 10mm thick steel bracket and throw a fully tensioned 8 rib belt if the pulleys aren't aligned and designed correctly. I would not feel confident with that type of force being exerted on my water pump pulley.
Then again, I am also not a mechanic.
