Default IS 250 Headlight Upgrade

Hi, one of my HID headlights go out randomly if I turn off the light and turn it back on it works but it will go out again. I read some threads and it seems to be the bulbs rather than the ballast/kit. I would like to know if I can get a set of these and plug it in and work? I have the stock 4300k from Lexus, I am not sure if the voltage matters from 4300k to 8000k. Let me know thanks for your help

Don't buy the cheap knock offs, just go with 6000k Garax bulbs they have great light output and people seem to give them good reviews. My friend got a set of 6000k Garax and doesn't regret it at all.

hey Lysis, thanks I just look them up they are about 90 bucks per pair but looks pretty decent with the reviews. Do you happen to have picture of 8000k vs 6000k on an actual car. would like to compare the color. Thanks

No I personally don't but there's a lot of comparisons just search and you will find what you're looking for.

Ok great, now I know that I am not buying the cheapo bulbs and going with 6000k rather than 8000k now. Which one should I pick? Garax 6000k or Xenondepot 6000k?

XenonDepot offers 5000k or 6500k only, does not have 6000k and cost about 120 for a pair
http://www.kbcarstuff.com/

Garax 6000k costs me about 90 bucks from ebay.

Which is a better buy, but I do want to save the extra 30 bucks. I guess depending how different they are...

The difference between 6000k and 6500k are very minimal. Use the coupon code "CLGB08" and the bulbs are $80 shipped

I would go with Xenondepot because Ive heard mixed reviews about garax.

I doubt you will have any problems. Ive bought several things from Xenondepot and have nothing but good things to say about them

I wouldn't call a 8000k bulb swap an upgrade. It's a downgrade in my opinion. Less light on the road and worse quality product compared to OEM. I'd say stick to OEM or get new OEM ones. Hid bulbs loose a lot of brightness over the years.
