power steering help!

Default power steering help!

so i just replaced my rack and pinion on my 07 is250 RWD but I am running on a small issue, the steering shaft knuckle is not sliding down the shaft on the rack. I have searched and i cant find a pic of how its suppose to sit. Any input will help thanks.

use a hammer and tap the knuckle... gently...

i will try this, do you know how far i have to go? do i take the knuckle to the grove on the racks shaft?

about 3 or 4 firm, yet gentle taps should do it. it doesn't have to be beaten to death to get slide on all the way.
