Hello Guys,
I don't know if this is in the correct spot or not, but I'm planning on purchasing an 06 IS350 with 90K Miles for 14.5K, all regular maintenance at a Lexus Dealer has been done to it. Everything on it checks out beautifully. Am I paying too much or is this perfect? Right now I have a 2010 Genesis Coupe 2.0t I'm trading in because I am going to have a daughter come August and need something more family oriented.

Sounds like a great deal, but an IS is not a "family oriented" car. I don't have a kid but most here have stated you can hardly fit a child seat and have the front passengers sit comfortably. Unless you have another car, i'd suggest looking for something bigger like an ES or GS.

I have had a child seat in my car plenty of times. It's slightly cramped (without adjusting seats) when putting the seat in, but once it's in, it fit fine. My ex is 5'2" and her son sat just fine in the back. This was between 4-7 years old. So it really depends on how big the front passengers are. It's not the best family car, but it's not the worst either.

I apologize for not getting back to anyone, I was crazy busy at work. Definitely like all of your responses! I'm about 6'7" my Fiancee is about 5'7" she has a daughter from a previous relationship who is now 4 going on 5 she just sits in the smaller booster seats that she just sits on. So she would more than likely sit behind me, then my daughter would sit behind my Fiancee as she can scoot up the sit a bit. This wouldn't be an all the time thing as my Fiancee already has a Hyundai Elantra, I just need something a tad bit more family oriented for some trips to California and on the weekend.

I agree with this guy. At 6'7", you're a big one, lol. My buddy is 6'5" and he adjusts my passenger seat waaaay back so his knees aren't jammed in his chest. i'd suggest taking the family when you go to test drive and see if it suits you. My bet is still on the GS/ES though.
