Lady2is, did you cut the OEM bumper before putting on the gfx rear? Or just tape it on? I’ve been nervous about installing mine. Been sitting on it for over two years.

hello, i initially tried taping it on w.o cutting the bumper, but there were noticeable gaps where the lip curves above the exhaust hole. I ended up cutting into the OEM bumper and removing the tabs that are taped onto the lip in order to get flush fitment. I read that some members were able to successfully install the lip w.o cutting the bumper, so I would try that before chopping it up. (:

Upgrade time! 3IS front bumper conversion on the way! 🥳

As much as I like the factory front with the addition of the front lip, I decided that it's time for a change. The 3IS conversion will take a couple of months on sea-freight to reach me in New Zealand + the time to get it painted, so it will be a while before I can post photos of it on, but this photoshop I did of the current look vs conversion gives me something to look forward to

Option B is costly; one could own a 2IS of every color AND a house... I do not recommend B!

Haha, you're absolutely right. I've got 5 kids so that would prove to be very costly. Thankfully the other half doesn't mind me spending money on my car as it's my only hobby when I'm not at work or spending time with the family

Speaking of which, I upgraded from the smaller GFX spoiler to this Wald style ducktail today, in order to match the rear better as it looked a bit too small in comparison to the lower lip and roof spoiler I added afterwards.
The badge also had an upgrade to a fully enclosed gloss black version, which matches my radar cruise control badge on the front grille. Takes a bit of getting used to but I'm liking the thicc look
