Had a quick photoshoot with my mate's one before he started his 650km (400 mile) trip back home after getting the bumper conversion fitted. Apologies for the amount of photos, had loads more but these were the ones I liked the most, and it was hard enough whittling them down to just these ones 😅

Those look damn good for old cars! That really keeps them ALIVE and has to keep many guessing WTH is going on there! I have yet to spin my head here seeing one go by.
In a nutshell, how many components needed customized or modified for the bumper conversion? Asking from a perspective of additional man hours to make the conversion fit cleanly vs r&r of existing facia where everything fits. So not to include custom work on headlight build or that level of personalization.

Thanks!
Thanks! Certainly has many people second guessing. The look on their face when I tell them it's an '06 is priceless. The bumper is a conversion so comes made to fit the car. To make it fit perfectly took about 6 hours of fiddling, but that was because I was super fussy and wanted everything done as perfectly as possible. You could have the small adjustments done in 2-hours if you know what to expect.

Sorry, meant to post in the 3IS thread. If a mod can move it, would appreciate.
Hell, leave it here and repost in the 3IS thread. That thing is beautiful. Congrats on the purchase of the IS500 man. Best color in my opinion.
Managed to get my hands on some F-Sport seats for the wife's '06 IS350. I've been on the hunt for these seats for my own 350 for the last 4-years but ended up installing alpine white IS-F seats instead, so when I saw these 2011 IS350 F-Sport seats at a local wrecker I couldn't leave without them. They are the identical design to the IS-F seats but without the F logo on the side and have light grey stitching instead of blue.
I also grabbed the F-Sport perforated steering wheel, and swapped over her stitched airbag cover + carbon button trims. Ended up using a blue fabric pen to color in the light grey stitching to match the rest of the dash theme. Considered doing the seat stitching too, but have left it for now as it matches the stitching on the door trims
