I been very busy and haven't done anything to my car in about two months. I got a chance today to go to shop and start blocking the bumpers and side skirts. shoot another coat of primer and then finalize it. probably mold spoiler next weekend.
Pics of my car while I was working on this G8 this weekend... my car was washed, decontaminated with IronX, and topped with CarPro ReLoad to help boost the protection for the upcoming winter months (car is already coated with 22ple VX1 Pro).
In all honesty, it looks pretty good. You can tell it's a replica for sure but it's not bad. The front looks a little off to me without the carbon fiber accents and those replica fenders look cheap. But if it wasn't for those fenders, I'd like it much more.
Regardless, nice pickup. Interested to see where you go from here
Car is going into the body shop shortly for some new paint.
Cheers buddy .... Yep I see where your coming from ... the KIT was bought from a company called Xenonzuk who specialise in Lighting & Body styling in the uk.
Moving forward - Front bumper will be replaced for something a little more slicker, I see in your footnote on your reply a new IS front bumper on a old IS. Is the front bumper conversion available.? wouldn't mind having a go at it other wise I will probably just put a ISF front Bumber on.
You're going to love it... I talked to Wes (owner @ Elite Finish Detailing) shortly after we chatted a few weeks ago, and they're looking forward to working on your car
