Do you have one of these LED interior light kits in their car?
Posting up for the sis-in-law again. She has a 2008 IS.
She showed me these LED interior lights:
2006-2013 Lexus IS250 IS350 IS-F Interior LED SMD Lights Full Package 8Pcs White
Is this a popular mod for the IS? Is there anything we should be looking out for? (For instance I know on some european cars the LED lights will throw codes in the car?) Or are they pretty much just plug and play on the Lexus? Anyone got pics?

One of the first mods anyone ever does really. Plenty of plug and play LEDs on the market that's suited to your personal tastes (color, brightness, etc.)

Kinda but it's an older pic cause the seats have the red on the bolsters now. Did want to give him a idea of how it looks though.

Yeah, definitely looks brighter than stock! Just hope they aren't totally overwhelming. Are they borderline too bright?

Usually aftermarket LEDs are way brighter than stock. Huge improvement over stock bulbs. Lights up the interior really well. IMHO, LEDs are not too bright.

They're perfect for the amount of time they're on. I don't drive with them on.
