If you read carefully, I don't think bob4256 is stating he has a 350. He's just asking if believe a 350 is faster than a 250.

You might not think the difference in HP between the 250 and 350 is a lot, but the IS does have more power and is just a tad faster.

Back on topic, I hope the OP found out the info she was looking for. Pick up an intake, exhaust and sway bars and see if you still think the IS is fun to drive. Good luck.

I read this as you would race your 250 against a local 350 because they think their car is faster than yours. Their car IS faster than yours so thats why Im confused by your statement.

Yes I know my car is a 250, Ive never said otherwise. I clearly labeled it in my build thread as a 250. This is actually my 3rd trunk, and all of them have been debadged because I prefer the clean look. I even have 350 brakes so I could go and try to play it off as a 350 if I wanted to, but I dont. Not sure what any of this has to do with my original question

is 350 faster than is 250 but when you racing in local area,light,care,people,.its all about brave and skill.not all about the power on the car.i guess you guy never do so.i have is 250 awd.i would never debadge because i want clean look.its lexus.it look nices and clean already.anytime i drive on the street and i see any is debadge. i would laugh but its okay if you wannna be is 350.Thats fine.haha

I don't know where all of this is coming from. I simply asked a question about what you said because I didn't understand what you were saying.

Actually a 350 does 0-60 much faster than a 250 so it's not all about brave and skill. Besides, you shouldn't be racing in the street, take it to the track. And even at the track, a 350 will beat a 250. I don't understand what your issue is.

And if I wanted a 350, don't you think I would have one? I mean I dumped quite a bit of money into my 250 so I could have used it to towards a 350.

Your "making fun of me" because I debaged my car? If I wanted to pose as a 350, why would I clearly say I have a 250 in my build thread? Your not making any sense. You think I'm attacking you and your not making any sense with your "comebacks".

I am sure you are very brave and you could win any race with your 250AWD (the slowest IS) against any IS 350 but wake up. If Bob wanted people to think he has a 350 do you really think debadging was the way to go, or replacing the IS250 with a IS350 would be a better way to do it.
I really don't see your frustration here. People including me think the car looks much cleaner with just the emblem and not the model name. Everyone is doing it not just Lexus,. BMW, Mercedes you name it. Just because you don;t like it don't assume other people should think the same or they're doing it for whatever reason YOU THINK they're doing it.

I'm not gonna bash on you hard but weaving in and out of traffic doesn't mean 250 faster. It mean the drive is careless for other people life. If your brave and all about your driving skill then go to the drag against a 350 then when you see tail light you know the deal. By the way most guys will laugh at you when you rev the 2.5L at them. Even a GSR will put it to shame just saying even on the streets.

Stop arguing about 250 vs 350, we are all supposed to be a family here.

I drove the 350 and own a 250, 350 is noticeably quicker with much more pull at pretty much all rpm ranges.

You can get a used 350 for as much as a new Corolla, so its not about who got more money. Pretty much any bum on the road with a new car could afford a 350 (new or used) if they so choose.

All these talk about money and who got the more expensive car or the better car is really destructive to the community.
