Debadging Rear (Removing the emblems)
Whats up guys.... im new here.. just got my first is250.
I want to remove the badges in the trunk of the car.... the "LEXUS" and the "is250" ... i like the cleanness of it when there's nothing there.... however, when i started removing the "is250"... after the "I" was out... i realized that the "s" has a hole behind it... which sucks ***** because im not trying to patchi it and repaint the truck just for that.
My questions to you...
1. How many holes are there behind the "lexus" and"is250" in total? Are there holes behind every letter?
2. Any suggestions on how to cover this so it looks good?
Thanks !

SFFD is correct, there are a total of 4 holes, 2 on each side.
Here are some pics I took about 10 minutes ago, as you can see they are barely noticeable on a black car, they've been debadged for almost a year now never had any problems.

I have debadged my rear and did not do anything to it. Just left the holes. You can't notice it unless you are going out of your way to look for the holes. Here is a picture for reference.

Black it's hardly noticeable, but since I didn't have that luxury being as mine is crystal white and they stood out like a sore thumb here was my solution... I took a sheet of white vinyl, cut out 1/4" circles for each hole. I weeded the rest of the vinyl so it was only the 4 remaining pieces I needed. Then I used touch-up paint (both stages) and let them cure. I covered the holes with the vinyl pieces and outside of 1ft away its almost completely unnoticeable. Also it's completely reversible if I wanted to go back to a full compliment of emblems.

How to Fill emblem holes?
Hey I am wondering the best way to fill emblem holes. I have the trunk panel off and I see its some kinda plastic. Are most people fiberglassing the panel from the rear and filling the holes and respraying the panel. The main problem is I don't think its any kind off abs plastic so welding doesn't really seem like an option. I have scene some cracked ones and it seems like its some kind off composite plastic? Anyone know what it is?

Well repainting the trunk is not a problem im more looking for the best way to fill the holes. Basically how do the shops do it. I called alot of shops in the seattle area and they basically said they wont do it cause it wont last. Which i dont really believe.
