Hey guys, so it's taking longer than expected.. They went back to make sure that the grille lined up correctly and made some other minor detail adjustments. Since yesterday it's been in the booth and they are sanding it and getting it ready for primer. It should begin the paint process later tomorrow or Friday morning and they are shooting to have it done by Friday night. They'll send me some pictures by the end of today once it's done with primer. So I'll post those up later tonight.
I expected it would take longer. Aligning the grill was a pain. I took my bumper on and off a billion timmes before getting it right where I wanted it. Lookin forward to the finish Sebastian.
cant wait to see this done...when i saw the 3is i saw not much changed on the side...the most drastic change was up front and rear...and even then the design dimensions of the car seem to pretty much stay the same
I'm so excited to see this. I hope you're able to list everything you had to put into it for materials. I would definitely do this to mine, would like to know how much this comes to as well. Kudos to the shop.
i'm assuming you won't be able to put your stock bumper back on afterward?
Nope because the stock 2IS bumper was molded with the 3IS bumper

I'll post all the parts I purchased and give a price rundown tomorrow when I get the chance. I'll also include the labor and give a grand total.
