Default Quiet/Smooth Tires

I have an 08 IS250 AWD...

What are the best tires for someone on a budget that wants a quiet smooth ride? I have Bridgestone Potenza on right now...

Thanks!

I've been very happy with the Hankook Ventus V12 if you're looking for the best budget tire you can get. It's great in wet, damp, and dry. I've auto crossed it and driven through pouring rain on it. For less than $1k, it is the best bang for the buck tire!

+1 on the DWS...they are probably my 2nd choice

I've been very pleased with the Kumho Ecsta 4X on the IS250. My wife's Cadillac CTS has Falken 612's, also quiet and smooth.

Both are very reasonably priced.

Have heard nothing but good about the Continental DWS, but haven't checked any pricing.

Love my Continental DW, quietest tires I've owned. Buddy has DWS on his Audi, and they are equally as good. Highly recommend either.

Another buddy just put some Ventus V12 Evos on his C-class, and the Contis are definitely quieter.

I've owned damn near most tires. The best for the money is the Continental DWS tires for ride and a very quiet road noise. You wouldn't be disappointed.

I have run the Hankook V12 Evos, as well as the Michelin Pilot Super Sports and found both to be very quiet and solid performers. For the price difference, I'm a bigger fan of the Hankooks.
