Basically it boils down to...yes it can tow things, but is it recommended. NO! I wouldn't even tow anything more than a bike hitch rack (if I had a tow hitch), and I have a 350.

There have been some very good opinions expressed in this thread. I would add that I have towed the 5 x 8 U-Haul trailer with Jeep Grand Cherokee and I extremely surprised how heavy the trailer was empty. Throw in some hills and wind resistance and you are looking at quite a bit of weight.

We are moving from Atlanta, GA to Dallas, TX and planing to tow a UHAUL 4' X 8" Trailer (http://www.uhaul.com/Reservations/Eq....aspx?model=UV) or 5' X 8' (http://www.uhaul.com/Reservations/Eq....aspx?model=AV) with our luggage of approx weight 1000 lbs in it. We do not have the hitch setup installed on our car yet. Uhaul has a hitch setup/kit and offering for $360 including installation charges. But i am wondering if this a good idea to tow with IS250. What are the issues i would encounter and etc...

Please advise.

^^^^Welcome to the forum , but that post was made almost 6 years ago, and the OP hasn't posted since. Assuming he's already moved to the Big "D". BTW, are you in Victoria Texas? I was stationed there at Foster AFB when I was a kid. I was one of the last to leave and was part of the deactivation team.
