Default Help with interior size..need to fit something large!! urgent

Thanks for any info in advance!!!!

I need to pick up a bumper cover for my GF's car tomorrow. I do not have access to anything with a hatch nor a pick up.

Plus its a 3 hrs drive from home. the bumper cover is for an Audi TT. is about 5.5 feet (170 cm) long and 2 feet (60cm) wide. I do not have access to the TT as she is out of town with friends either. Is it possible to fit into the IS? If so, do you think I can fit in another passenger? As I would love to bring a friend for such a long drive lol

Thank you!!
Jeff

I wouldn't drive 3 hour just to try to see if it fit the car.
Not so sure about the fitment but 85% it wont fit. Why don't you get it ship?

I'm say yes if you put you passenger seat folded down. So the one edge is touching the passenger floor, middle over your seat and the other edge touching the rear seat. Or take out your passenger seat and call it a day.

If it really is only 5.5ft x 2ft, then one or both of these should work.

Good Luck!

I have fit our 2IS rear bumper in the car, and I think the audi is slightly smaller so yes it should fit. The bumper went from the front passenger seat diagonally to the rear driver seat.

I also had a friend with me, but he had to sit in the rear passenger seat. We traveled like this for about 10 mins, I don't know how comfortable it would be for a 3 hour trip though

Yeah, it'll fit fine with the front passenger seat laid down flat. If needed, roll a window down and pray for no rain.

if you do that the airbag light would go on and have to either disconnect negative to reset or take it to dealer and get charged to reset lol. too much hassle imo.

After reading the thread title, I was expecting to see the end of a dirty joke.

To quote Michael Scott from The Office; "That's what she said..."

LOL'd with the last two replies...Thank you for the others tho...I thought about getting it shipped. But shipping in Canada is just too expensive, might as well rent a truck for the day

I've taking my seats out so many time never had to reset it or take it to the dealer. I plug the seat back in and airbags light goes off.
