2008 Lexus is250 rear tail light/brake light question
Very stupid question but after searching around I can't seem to find the answer. I'm 2 weeks into my 1st Lexus purchase and I went to get window tint done today. I had my wife drive the car home and noticed that when she was braking only the outer edge lights in the rear tail light and middle 3rd brake light came on but nothing from the inner tail lights. Is this the way it is designed or are my LED or bulbs burn out? I checked the thick owners manual in the car and it only mentions turn signals/back-up light replacement and nothing on the brake lights.

There is nothing wrong with the car. The 3 lights you have circled in the pictures ARE the 3 brake lights that are supposed to turn on. The inner tail lights will light up automatically during the night time.
