Question 2010 is250 rwd - will 18" oem wheels fit

Hi,

I have a 2010 is250 rwd w/ 17" oem wheels and have come across some lexus 18" oem wheels that I would like to purchase. Will I have any issues w/ 225/40/18 in front and 245/40/18 in rear?

The current tires are 225/40/17 - 245/40/17.

Will I need to do any mods to fit these 18" wheels?

Thanks in advance.

The 18" wheels and tires are a direct fit on all second gen. IS vehicles

my understanding is that they should be direct fit. All the offsets are factored in already.

For example, when you purchase a car with 17 in as default, you can always get the upgrade to 18in wheel by paying extra. I think dealer just swap the 17 with 18 wheels. Nothing special.

rears are suppose to be 255/40/18

it will be a direct swap with no problems, you gotta swap over your TPMS sensors too

You'll be just fine No mods necessary, a direct swap!

swapping TPMS should be part of the tire installation cost. It breaks down to be about $5 each at wheelworks.

You can not swap it without taking the tire out, I think.

You don't have to completely remove the tire. what most places do is break the bead opposite side from TPMS sensor and force the rest of the bead down by hand and hold the sensor while unscrewing the lock nut.
