New Member Hello
G' evening everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking for the past few weeks.
About a week ago I traded in my s2000 for a 07's IS350. I spent a few months looking at luxury sport sedans, and I'm now 100% certain I made the right decision. I've had several cars in the past, always looking for the car that does "everything". I must say, I think the Lexus (with suspension upgrades in the future) is just that.
The IS is flat out, the best car I have ever owned. I've had a supercharged e36 M3, a stage 2 GR STi, the s2000, and a few others toys. The balance of performance and comfort in the IS350 is, well, amazing.
Anyways, I'm getting her detailed next Monday. I'll post pictures afterwards. She is a SGM and so beautiful. She was a Lexus dealer loaner in her early life, then someone else bought her and took excellent care. The only modification I can spot so far is a magnaflow catback.
Anyways, I just wanted to introduce myself. It's a pleasure reading these forums and I look forward to learning more. Cheers!

I just bought mine today too...like you i've had my fair share fast toys...but they're all so loud and rides like butt...this is a good balance of power and comfort...and best of all, just change oil, gas it and drive...no need to worry about anything breaking *knock on wood*

Thanks for the warm welcome.
As of now, the only mod I have planned at this point is suspension. At first I didn't like the chrome Lexus wheels, but they are growing on me. I'll post pictures after I get the swirls out. The dealer I bought it from did a poor wax job. I'm taking it to a local detailer to get a fresh clay and wax.
It came with a magnaflow exhaust, which I like --- though it could be more aggressive. I'm thinking BC coilovers for a suspension upgrade. Coming from an s2000, the car rides very smooth but feels like a bus going around corners or accelerating.
